The resort looks very nice. Lots of pools. Friendly staff.
The resort was just too big for us - from the hotel room to the car 20-30 minutes. Selfparking for $25, very expensive. No parasols. You can't really call it "a beach", it was rather a very small bay.

Very nice outdoor area, the pool has a big waterfall.
Almost no shade in the outdoor area, only a few deckchairs have a parasol. Wifi in the room wasn't good.

The selection at breakfast was very good. However, a tip was expected from the breakfast staff, although breakfast was included and it was buffet.
Location, too far from Kona.

The only thing I missed was an infinity pool.

The hotel complex offers simply everything. Very nice pool facilities.
No beach. A litre of water costs $5 in the shop.

Breakfast was great. The restaurants were also delicious and very recommendable - especially the Italian restaurant, the lagoon is very inviting for snorkeling. Turtles, moray eels, etc.
Nothing. It was a perfect holiday, except for the weather, but the resort can't help it :)

The location for our transit was good.
We booked the hotel for one night because we thought it was the cheapest. However, parking fees and service charges were added and made it much more expensive than others would have been.

The complex is very beautiful.
Rooms are outdated and no Hilton standard, no 3 stars worth

I have stayed there many times before- the Lagoon area has a great pool and the place is pretty and convenient for that part of the island.
Did not like that the boats between hotel areas only are in service later in the day, and since the tram can only run so many on the shared track, the wait was often very long (14 min) .... if they used more boats and less trams, they could run so much moreoften becuase they have lots of boats.... It's along walk otherwise and my parents could not do it. They also had a large convention while we were there and closed out the use of the only good pool to guests whose money they had already taken (like me) which was really unfair. In a sense, taking my money should have insured me use of the facilities, and then the "re-rented" the space for the exclusive use of another group

Everything else was very good. Free water. Wifi and the great view from Lagoon Tower.
The restaurants have little choice and are definitely overpriced.

Can recommend for a short break
Spacious room, excellent amenities, with a lovely dolphin pool attraction that my family thoroughly enjoyed .

This hotel was AMAZING! The reviews we read honestly couldn't do it justice. There is SO much to do and see just in the resort and the staff made us feel so welcome and like nothing was too much trouble. The grounds are beautiful, and perfect for both families and couples. There was a magical Disney-esque feeling to the resort, but with absolutely 0 fakeness. We would 100% go back and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel (and get the breakfast option if you can!)
We weren't told what the resort fee included until the end of our stay, by then we hadn't made full use of what we could have done

Incredible facilities. Stunning pools/lagoon area.
Big resort... Train to get you around... Lot of walking around if you like! Expensive restaurants and coffee. Wifi in rooms charged extra. Very American!

I had such a fun time lounging by the outdoor pool and checking out the amazing lagoon with sea turtles right outside my door. The whole place was super relaxing, especially with the spa and jacuzzis to enjoy during my stay. The only downside was the dining options felt a bit pricey but definitely worth a check for awesome views. 🌴
